Onder het thema "Angelman in de maatschappij" vallen de volgende onderwerpen.
 

Bewustmaking

De vASN probeert het Angelman Syndroom en de vereniging zoveel mogelijk onder aandacht te brengen. Dat kan via de nieuwsbrief, het plaatsen van artikelen in dagbladen en magazines en via TV en radio.
In 2017 heeft de vereniging via Mannin de Wildt het Angelman Syndroom in de TV/serie Spangas laten verwerken. U kunt de compilatie op onze site terugkijken.

Doel

Wij willen dat eenieder met de aandoening, inclusief hun familieleden vol en volwaardig kunnen meedoen en zich niet buitengesloten of minder geaccepteerd te voelen
